At Fight Firm, we understand that a majority of people cannot afford to be injured. Our classes are designed to be safe with a strong emphasis on getting a great workout while learning fundamental techniques. Because we have a competition team and there are those who like a hands on approach, we do offer the option to spar and simulate a fight situation in a safe environment with proper equipment. This is typically not part of the class curriculum and set outside of class times with coach/instructor approval.

Boxing Class

Our Boxing class is set in a small group environment suited for beginners with no prior experience, all the way to those looking to test their skills in competition. There is a huge emphasis on developing and fine tuning boxing fundamentals. One can expect to learn and develop proper punching techniques, fundamental footwork, proper posture and stance, and conditioning. These fundamentals in boxing will be acquired through boxing routines of jump roping, bag work, speed bag, agility drills and padwork.

Muay Thai Class

Our Muay Thai class is a great workout focused on learning and developing Muay Thai fundamentals and techniques through partner drilling and padwork. Teeps, checks, clinches, kicks, elbows, punches, and knees are some techniques that will be put together and demonstrated during class for our members to drill in order to learn the proper balance and mechanics of practical combos.

MMA Striking Class

MMA stands for mixed martial arts. That is exactly what our MMA striking class represents. It is the fusion of striking martial arts put together into a hybrid dynamic striking style. We do not believe there is one “best” style. Some ideas and concepts that we use to build our style are taken from Boxing, Muay Thai, and some traditional martial arts. Partnering up and working on combos, defense, counters, footwork, and forms through drills and padwork is the main channel of learning in class.

Cardio Boxing/Kickboxing

Our cardio Boxing and cardio Kickboxing classes are not light fuffy classes. You are not just doing aerobic exercises through punching and kicking in the air. Our class is designed for all levels of experience and fitness. “You get what you put into it”. There is no pressure to “keep up”. Everyone goes at their own pace. It is very typical for members to walk off to take a brief breather or water break on their own before jumping right back in. It is a laid back fun but hard class. If you want to burn calories and test your limits, this class is for you. Unlike the other classes we offer, there is little emphasis on technique. Rather, we use Boxing/Kickboxing as a tool to get in shape in a fun way. Typically, first half of class will be focused on body weight exercises and plyometrics like burpees, mountain climbers, planks, lunges, etc… The second half will be focused on boxing/kickboxing techniques on the heavy bag and padwork with instructor.

Krav Maga

Krav Maga is an effective, modern, and dynamic self-defense and fighting system. It is designed to be practical and intuitive for people of any age, shape, or size. The techniques expand on your natural instincts to develop skills quickly and effectively, while enabling you to address attacks under any scenario. You will learn how to defend yourself and your loved ones, while gaining increased awareness and instinctive reflexes.

Krav Maga is a pure self defense and striking system. There are no competitions or showcases for self defense scenarios. We train in Krav Maga to help us avoid and survive the worst case scenarios. If someone is threatening your life, we train on how to avoid that scenario to begin with, and if it is already beyond the point of no return, we are trained to use the most effective strikes and techniques to prevail, while under extreme stress. There are no elaborate choreographies nor absolutes. There are no uniforms and no traditions. We do not train in Krav Maga to start fights or show off. We train to save our own lives and the lives of our loved ones.
